wins silver medal in West Asia Baseball Cup in Colombo. Sri Lankan baseball team defeat Pakistan baseball
team in the final. Pakistan beat India in the semi-final and qualify for the final.
India took the bronze medal in the tournament.
Pakistan baseball team winning margin against India in the semi-final
was 13-2.
Six teams were competing
in the tournament and top two teams qualify for the Asian baseball tournament which
will be held in China later this years. As indicated by the Pakistan Federation
baseball partner Chief Pervez Ahmed, the assurance of the group was high for
the last. They lost 5-4 to Sri Lanka. Hosts outflanked them in the last innings
of nine in the match.
Pakistan were commanded
by Sri Lanka till the fifth inning 3-0, while they improved structure in the
6th to edge nearer 3-1, and by eighth inning, they were 5-3 to Sri Lanka. The
match was chosen in the last inning.
Pakistan are positioned
fifth in Asia and 24th on the planet.
